Meet Our Founder: Riley Williams

SecureSwipe Payments was founded by Riley Williams, a Richmond native with a lifelong passion for the payment industry. Growing up, Riley was immersed in the world of payments—his mother worked for Visa for 40 years, instilling in him a deep understanding of the industry and a drive to innovate.

A lifer at Collegiate School, Riley went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Business from the VCU School of Business, further solidifying his expertise in the field. Knowing from a young age that he wanted to help businesses streamline their transactions, Riley built SecureSwipe Payments to provide merchants with fast, secure, and hassle-free payment solutions.

When he’s not helping businesses simplify payments through SecureSwipe Payments, Riley enjoys spending time at home in Richmond with his wife, Cabell, their daughter, Harper, and their two dogs, Lucky and Blue. He’s passionate about supporting the local community and takes pride in working closely with business owners—whether they’re just getting started or well established—to provide secure, affordable, and easy-to-use payment solutions backed by genuine, hands-on service.
